Our territory
Our territory is a hilly area of volcanic origin.
In Irpinia the mixed soils highlight a matrix limestone, and, on the surface, the volcanic ash linked to the Plinian eruptions of Vesuvius.
From the vineyard to the wine, every choice is made in respect of the rhythms of the nature and history of our territories.
Montefalcione
The planted vines are located in Contrada Carrani and Contrada Folette in the town of Montefalcione, province of Avellino, about 500 meters above sea level.
The hilly territory, and the climate’s temperature is continental Mediterranean. The harsh winters, the strong temperature variations between day and night, even during the summer, determinate the quality of our wine.
The soils are loose and rich in limestone with marlstone and clay on the surface.
